Savarkar poster row: RSS idealogue’s posters put up at Congress Party office in Karnataka’s Vijayapura

Vijayapura: Unidentified persons have pasted a poster of Hindu Mahasabha leader Veer Savarkar at the Congress office in Vijayapura in Karnataka.

The poster was pasted on Sunday night after senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah's "Muslim area" comment while speaking on the Savarkar-Tipu flex row in Shivamogga on August 15.

Since then, BJP and Hindu activists have staged protests against Siddaramaiah, who has blamed the BJP government in Karnataka for the demonstrations against him. (UNI)
