Srinagar: The 300-km-long national highway, connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country, was through for traffic despite slippery road conditions due to sub-zero temperature.
However, heavy vehicles will ply only from Jammu to Srinagar, while light vehicles will be allowed from both the sides of the national highway, a traffic police official told UNI.Meanwhile, roads leading to border towns of Keran, Machil, Tangdhar and Gurez continued to remain close following accumulation of five to six feet of snow.(UNI)
