Madhya Pradesh: Finance company employee stabs woman more than 27 times in Khandwa for rejecting his love

Khandwa (MP): A finance company official has been placed under arrest here for allegedly murdering a local Municipal Corporation functionary by knifing her more than 27 times as she did not reciprocate his love, police said on Monday.

Shockwaves went across this district headquarters as news spread regarding the corpse of Rajni (27) – whose engagement was fixed recently – being found on Saturday within a water tank at her residence in Ramnagar locality.

Kin suspected Kapil Shah who was a friend of the victim. Call details were investigated and it transpired that he visited the dwelling after arriving from Pune.

The accused – who possesses an MBA degree – was apprehended on Sunday and confessed during interrogation. (UNI)
