Maharashtra: Pilot killed, female trainee injured as plane crashes in Jalgaon

Jalgaon: A pilot was killed and one female trainee pilot was injured when a small trainee plane crashed on Friday in a hilly area Vadri village in Chopda tehsil here.

According to Adavad police, the deceased was Nurul Anil (30, resident of Bangalore).

A trainee plane crashed in a hilly area in Chopda taluka of Jalgaon district this afternoon. This is an aircraft for the learners of Shirpur Airport. The officers and staff of Adavad police station have rushed to the spot after getting information about the incident.

Tribal brothers in the area have gathered after getting information about this incident. Pilot Nurul Anil (30, resident of Bangalore) was killed in the incident.

Tehsildar Anil Gavit and other officials visited the spot. Medical Superintendent Manoj Patil and Guruprasad Wagh treated Anishka Lakhan Gujar (28, resident of Paridhar, Badwani, Madhya Pradesh) with serious injuries. She was then shifted to Mumbai. (UNI)
