Maratha quota row: Curfew imposed in Jalna after protesters set MSRTC bus on fire

Jalna: Maratha reservation protesters in Jalna district allegedly set off a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation bus at Tirthapuri, Ambad taluka, against the state government over the Maratha reservation issue.
 
MSRTC's Ambad Depot Manager has filed a police complaint at a local police station following a bus allegedly torched by Maratha agitators.
 
Officials stated that a curfew has been imposed in Ambad due to the law and order situation following an incident.
 
Manoj Jarange-Patil, a Quota activist on hunger strike for reservation, became aggressive on Sunday, accusing Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis of wanting to kill him and leaving for Mumbai.
 
The individual experienced dizziness during their journey and spent the night at Bhamberi village before returning to Mumbai the following morning.
 
Jarange-Patil returned from Bhamberi village and reached Antarwali Sarati in Ambad Taluka, announcing his position in the coming hours after receiving support from supporters and the police.
 
The Maratha community member has urged them to remain calm and return home, stating that future direction will be determined through regular meetings with Maratha brothers across the state.
 
He will announce his position in the coming hours regarding his decision to move to Mumbai.
