Massive fire at Eskay Movies studio in Kolkata, 15 fire tenders on spot

Kolkata: A massive fire broke out in the studio of Eskay Movies at Kudghat in South Kolkata on Thursday.

A firefighter was injured while combating the massive flames at the Eskey movie studio, storehouse, located Kudghat at Tollygunge early on Thursday, state minister Aroop Biswas confirmed.

About 15 firefighting vehicles were used to douse the flames at the studio godown, which is located at 27, Baburam Ghosh Road, in the southern part of the city.

Sources said the cause of fire at the godown, which was stacked in inflammable materials, was yet to be ascertained. (Inputs from UNI)
