Mumbai: Five labourers were killed due to suffocation while cleaning of water tank of an under-construction building in the Nagpada area of South Mumbai.
According to fire bridge sources, the incident occurred at 12:29 a.m. when the private labourers were cleaning the water tank at Bismillha Space Bldg, Dimtimkar Road, near Good Luck Moter Training School, Mint Road, Nagpada.
Immediately the fire brigade was informed, and the victims were rescued from the tank.
Sources said that victims were taken to government-run J J hospital but they all were declared dead before the admission.
