NCB let off BJP leader’s brother-in-law in Mumbai cruise drugs bust, claims NCP’s Nawab Malik

Mumbai: Once again, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) spokesperson Nawab Malik on Saturday slammed the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) saying as many as eleven people were detained by the NCB from the board of the ship of which three were released after bringing them to the NCB office.

Addressing newspersons here Saturday, Mr Malik said those three were relatives of former BJP Yuva Sena president Mohit Kambhoj alias Mohit Bharati.

They were identified as Rishab Sachadev, Pratik Gabba and Amir Furniturewala.

Mr Rishab Sachadev, is a brother-in-law of Mohit Kambhoj, other two are close to Mohit.

He allegedly said that these people were released following pressure from BJP leaders from Delhi and Mumbai.

He demanded the state police should take initiative and bring the call record of three people and Sameer Wankhede to bring the truth before the people of the state.

Mr Malik recalled that on the day of raid, NCB Zonal director Sameer Wankhede had given byte to media that 8 to 10 people were detained. Later, he said eight people were detained of which three were allowed to go home without any action.

He further said Mr Pratik Gabba and Amir Furniturewala brought Aryan Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan for the party on the ship, why they were released, NCB should clarify, under whose instruction they were released?

He also said K P Gosami, who is absconding from Pune, is on radar of Pune police, who had signed two panchnama and address on both the panchnamas is different.

BJP leaders are saying that whatever he has said is false, then set up a commission, so that truth will come out, he added. (UNI)
