Nagpur: Stating that India has no place for separatists, BJP Rajya Sabha member Subramanaian Swamy thundered 'Pakistan is an apt place' for them and hence they should go there and then oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Talking to mediapersons before speaking at a lecture series on topic ‘Role of banks in growth of MSME for employment opportunities here yesterday,
Dr Swamy said, 'If Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is unable to control the separatists, she should resign and the state should be brought under President’s Rule.'
Commenting on demand that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat be made President of the country, Dr Swamy said, “Those, who have no other job, raise such demand. Bhagwat has himself set aside the rumor.
Therefore, raising such demand is inappropriate.' When asked about construction of 'Ram Mandir', Dr Swamy said the issue could be resolved now by bringing a law in Parliament. “The way for construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya would be clear only when BJP gains majority in Rajya Sabha,” he added.
