Malik accused Fadnavis of playing a vital role in drug seizure raids over the last two-years.

Malik said he will write to President Ram Nath Kovind seeking judicial, as well as a CBI inquiry into this matter.

Malik has also attacked National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) vice-chairmen Arun Halder for visiting NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede's house even as the officer is facing a probe.

The NCP leader slammed Halder for giving a clean chit to Wankhede. Halder has refuted Malik's claim and said "the family was never Muslim" and "Wankhede has been a Dalit by birth".

Yesterday, Chairman of the National Scheduled Castes Commission &BJP's, Arun Haldar visited Sameer Wankhede's residence & him a clean chit. He should have conducted an investigation first & submitted a detailed report. We will complain about him to the President: Nawab Malik, NCP pic.twitter.com/oU1O8yDWL3

Malik, however, said he stood by every statement that he has issued so far in the Mumbai cruise drugs bust case that saw Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's son spend 28 days in custody.

Malik has said Wankhede was Muslim by birth and later changed his religion to get benefit under the Scheduled Caste category to land a government job. (UNI)
