Actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan donates Rs 30 lakh for Ayodhya's Ram Mandir construction

Vijayawada: Film actor turned politician and Janasena Party President K Pawan Kalyan has handed over a donation of Rs.30 lakh for the construction of Ayodhya Ram Mandir to the RSS state Chief Bharat.
Mr Kalyan also gave a cheque of Rs.11,000 contributed by Pawan Kalyan’s personal staff. Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan described lord Sri Ramachandra as a symbol of dharma, tolerance, sacrifice and bravery which inspire all.
He said that India has withstood many attacks because of the path created by Lord Sri Rama. “Hence, it is everyone’s responsibility to extend solidarity for the construction of the temple in Ayodhya”, he said.
“I have donated Rs.30 lakh for the construction of Rama temple. After knowing that I am donating, my personal staff members, including not only Hindus but also Muslims and Christians have also raised Rs.11,000 for the purpose,” he said. Former minister and BJP leader Dr.Kamineni Srinivas and RSS representatives Were among those present. (UNI)
