Pune Test: Australia set a target of 441 runs against India

Pune: Australia were all out on 285 runs in their second innings on the third day of the ongoing first Test, setting a target of 441 runs against India, at the MCA stadium here this morning.Resuming from overnight score 143/4, the visitors added another 141 runs to take a mammoth 440 run lead.

Skipper Steve Smith, who was unbeaten on 29 at stumps the previous evening, slammed his 18th Test century before being dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja.Ravichandran Ashwin and Jadeja came out with figures of 4/119 and 3/65 while Umesh Yadav bagged two.The Virat Kohli-led team now have eight sessions in hand to achieve the huge target.
