Qualifying for the Olympics is equivalent to Nobel prize: Eva Yelr

Indore: While India is battling to open its account in Rio Olympics, words of Eva Yelr may salvage the grief of crashed out Indian players. Terming the qualification for the Olympics as Nobel prize, she said that players should not be written off if they return without a medal.
Eva Yelr who was in a city to coach emerging table tennis players during Regional Asian Hopes camp organized at Abhay Prashal said that Winning an Olympic medal is a matter of pride but representing your country at international level is not a mediocrity.
When quizzed if the players indulge in fun and frolic and get distracted from their main aim, 63 year old german coach Elver completely denied it. Every player is fighting tooth and nail to grab a medal for his country in the Olympics.Therefore, their dedication should not be questioned.
She said Noble prize is organized every year and only one wins it among thousands. While Olympics is organized after every fourth year. Elver has rendered coaching to three time world champion Rosscoff and Olympic medalist Octrov.
Elver was quite impressed with the sports facility of Abhay Prashal. Before landing to the city Elver was concerned about her food but how can one be disappointed by the food of Indore. She relished mouth watering dishes in Indore and said she will miss the city.
