Mumbai: Indo-Briton businessman Raj Kundra on Friday knocked the doors of Bombay High Court, challenging his arrest in alleged pornographic racket case.
Also actress Shilpa Shetty's husband, Kundra was arrested by the Crime branch's CID on July 19 and subsequently remanded into police custody till July 27.
Terming his arrest as 'illegal', he has sought the High Court's direction to quash the remand order passed by a local court.
Substantiating his plea, he cited various CrPC sections as well as the several court verdicts. His petition will come up for hearing in its due course. (UNI)
