Police sources said that in this connection case number 320/22 has been registered at the Borio Police Station.
Police said that apart from husband Dildar Ansari his mother Mariyam Khatoon father Mohammed Mustakim Ansari first wife of Dildar Ansari Shareza Khatoon, brother Mahtab Ansari, sister Gulera Khatoon, Moinul and his wife Sabor Nisha and their daughter were sent to jail after Covid test at Sadar Hospital.
However maternal uncle of Dildar Ansari is still absconding. To arrest him SIT has been formed by Sahibganj Police. So far police have failed to recover the head of the deceased.
On Monday also silence prevailed in Borio in wake of the incident. Heavy police deployment has been made in the area and police also conducted a flag march.
The BJP on the other hand took out a protest march in Borio demanding death for the culprits and compensation and job for the kin.
The march was led by former minister Lois Marandi who also met with the family members and assured them that justice will be provided. (UNI)
