Jaipur: Rajasthan police have arrested Tulcharam Kaler, the kingpin of the famous "Bluetooth Chappal" copying case in the Reet Recruitment Examination from a residential complex located on Ajmer Road in Jaipur, here on Friday.
In Bikaner district, two cases related to cheating were registered in the written examination for 2021. This was followed by cases being registered in Ajmer, Sikar and Jodhpur as well. The mastermind of the entire case was identified as Tulcharam Kaler. The Bikaner police had arrested those who had tried to copy even before the commencement of the examination in different districts of Rajasthan.
The accused Tulcharam Kaler used to settle the deal of helping the candidates copy in the recruitment examinations through one Madan Lal for Rs 5 to 7 lakhs. Raju, an active member of this copying gang, also marks the examinees. The copying gang leader, along with his associates, used to meet the candidates to settle the paper deal for a large amount of money two days before the examination, by calling the candidate to his secret place and instruct them on how to carry out copying through electric devices, Bluetooth devices and slippers devices.
During the interrogation of the accused, it has come to the fore that the Bluetooth device was made in such a way that the voice calling device, battery, sim socket etc. could be fitted inside it. A fly-like Bluetooth would be set very close inside the ear of the candidate. For this a special device is prepared, so as not to arouse any suspicion. It is used by hiding the device in the under garments and no one can suspect wearing slippers on the feet. (UNI)
