SC issues notices to Shahabuddin and Tej Pratap Singh in murder of Journo Rajdeo Ranjan

New Delhi: The Supreme Court today issued notices to Bihar Health Minister Tej Pratap Singh and former RJD Member of Parliament Mohammad Shahabuddin for allegedly sheltering killers of journalist Rajdeo Ranjan.
"Also issued notice to the Bihar government and CBI, the investigative agency in the case".the division bench comprising Justice Deepak Mishra and C.Nagappan said after hearing the petition filed by Asha Ranjan,wife of the slain journalist.The top court also asked all the respondents to reply to petition filed by Ms Ranjan within two weeks.
The court also ordered proper police protection to the family of the slain journalist and fixed the matter for further hearing on October 17. (UNI)
