Shopkeeper stabbed for demanding payment in UP's Ballia

Ballia (UP): A shopkeeper was stabbed to death by a customer allegedly for demanding money in Narahi area of Ballia district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Friday.
 
Police sources said that Kauleshwar Rajbhar (48), a resident of Pipra Khurd village, was sitting at the fast food center of his son late on Thursday evening. "During this he had a dispute with Maksoodan Rajbhar over the payment of some items. "Infuriated over Kauleshwar for demanding money, Maksoodan abused him and called his nephews Pushpendra and Sunil on the spot," they said.
 
Police sources said that during the dispute Pushpendra, who is a tailor, stabbed Kauleshwar with a scissor injuring him seriously. "Kauleshwar was taken to the district hospital where doctors declared him dead," they said.
 
Police sources said that on the complaint of the deceased's brother Mahesh a case of murder has been lodged against Maksoodan, Pushpendra and Sunil and two of the accused have been detained. (UNI)
