New Delhi: Less than a week after Pakistan went into denial mood over surgical strikes conducted by the Indian Army, eyewitnesses came out in open to suggest that terrorist launch pads were destroyed, gun shots were heard and bodies of those ultras killed in the operation were loaded and taken for hush-hush burials. Media reports quoting eyewitnesses from across the Line of Control also said that at least six staging camps were raided by the special forces of Indian Army.
These witnesses, who were contacted through their relatives living in Jammu and Kashmir, said a staging camp of terrorists belonging to Lashkar-e-Toiba at Dudhnial, a small hamlet some 4 km across the LoC was targeted. Another eyewitness said that a building across the Al-Haawi bridge from the hamlet’s main bazaar was gutted in the operation. (UNI)
