Suspicion of illicit relationship made husband a killer, attacked wife’s employer with sharp weapons

Hoshiarpur: A man was killed on suspicion of having an illicit relationship with a woman who did domestic chores and took care of his child at his house in a village at Dasuya sub division of this district.
Kulbir Singh of village Neknama was returning to his house from Dasuya in his car last night. On the way he stopped his car to purchase liquor at a liquor vend at village Tihara.
As soon as Kulbir stopped his car, Kulwinder Singh alias Kindu of village Tihara, who was working on the liquor vend, along with at least six persons allegedly attacked his car and smashed it's window panes.
They allegedly dragged out Kulbir Singh from the car and attacked him with sharp weapons. After injuring him seriously all the accused escaped, the police said.
Kulbir Singh was admitted in Dasuya Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. All the accused have been booked under sections 302, 427, 148 and 149 of the IPC and raids were being conducted to nab them, the police said.
Preliminary investigation revealed that accused Kulwinder Singh's wife is doing domestic chores and taking care of Kulbir Singh's child.
Kulwinder Singh is said to have been suspicious that the deceased Kulbir Singh was having an illicit relation of his wife and hence he attacked him. (UNI)
