Nashik: Three leopard cubs, which got separated from their mother, were found in the Malegaon area of Sinnar taluka under Maharashtra's Nashik district, forest officials said.
According to the information received, three leopard cubs were found in the sugarcane field of a farmer, while labourers were cutting the sugarcane on Wednesday morning. This triggered an atmosphere of apprehension and fear because of the possibility of the female Leopard being present in the same area.
Upon getting information about the incident, the forest department officials rushed to the spot. Meanwhile, as the cubs needed to meet their mother, the cubs were placed under the basket at the same place on behalf of the forest department. Night vision trap cameras were then installed there.
On Wednesday evening, the female leopard rushed to the spot where her cubs were kept. The scene of the female carrying the three cubs safely has been captured on camera.
