Will free UP from SCAM-SP, Cong, Akhilesh, Maya, says Modi

Meerut: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said the BJP was going to make Uttar Pradesh free of 'SCAM' (SP, Congress, Akhilesh, Mayawati) to restore the state on peace and progress. Addressing a poll rally in neighbouring Meerut, Mr Modi said, 'The BJP is fighting Assembly polls in the State against 'SCAM' in which S stands for Samajwadi, C for Congress, A for Akhilesh and M for Mayawati.' He said good days will not return in the state unless it was 'SCAM'-free.

The Prime Minister also mocked at the Congress-SP alliance wondering how could yesterday arch enemies turn into friends overnight. 'One can well imagine as to how those who can not save themselves on their own, can save the state,' Mr Modi said. He said he wanted to do much for the state but the state government was creating obstacles hampering developmental works. He accused the Akhilesh government of 'failure to control law and order situation'. (UNI)
