New Delhi, Nov 9 (UNI) In the wake of the alarming rise in air pollution, which had reached dangerous levels, the 'controversial' Odd-Even formula to reduce vehicular congestion is likely to be back in the national capital from November 13.
According to Delhi government sources, the scheme, under which odd and even number vehicles are allowed to run on alternate days, will be enforced for five days, starting from November 13 to November 17.
The decision of the Kejriwal government comes a day after Lt Governor Anil Baijal held a high-level meeting on the burning issue of pollution, in which he asked the Transport Department to start preparing for odd-even scheme.
