1st T20I between India & West Indies shifted from Mumbai to Hyderabad

Mumbai: The 1st T20I between India and West Indies, which was scheduled to be played in Mumbai on December 6 has now been shifted to Hyderabad. The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium will now play host to the T20I series opener between the two teams, the BCCI said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will host the 3rd T20I on December 11.The Mumbai Police has expressed inability to provide security as the city would be on a high alert on December 6, the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition and also the "Mahaparinirvan Din" of B R Ambedkar.
 
Apart from three T20s India will host three ODIs beginning from December 15 in Chennai,second on December 18 in Visakhapatnam and final will be played at Cuttack on December 22.After Windies, Sri Lanka heads to India for three T20s starting on January 5, 7 and 10 at Guwahati, Indore and Pune.
 
Recently India won the three-match T20 series 2-1 against Bangladesh and also won two Test series by an innings sweeping the series 2-0.The team will continue the winning momentum when they play West Indies in three-match T20 series and three ODI series.(UNI)
