THIS ‘tainted’ cricketer to replace injured Jonny Bairstow in T20 World Cup squad

London: Alex Hales has been called up to England's ICC Men's T20 World Cup squad as a replacement for injured Jonny Bairstow, England Cricket Board said on Wednesday.
Bairstow sustained a left ankle injury last week that ended his chances of playing in the mega tournament.
Hales, 33, who last represented England in March 2019, has also been added to the IT20 squad for the tour of Pakistan.
The 33-year-old was axed from the England squad during 2019 World Cup after testing positive for a banned substance and has not played for them ever since.
England T20 WC squad: Jos Buttler (Captain), Moeen Ali, Harry Brook, Sam Curran, Alex Hales, Chris Jordan, Liam Livingstone, Dawid Malan, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt (Lancashire), Ben Stokes, Reece Topley, David Willey, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood.
