Australian cricket team reaches Pakistan after 24 years

Islamabad: Australia men's cricket team reached Pakistan on Sunday, their first trip to South Asian country in 24 years.
Australia will play three Test matches, as many as One-Day internationals, and one off T20 match.
The tour will begin with three-match Test series on March 4, followed by ODI series starting on March 29 and a T20 match which will be played on April 5.
The tour will be Pat Cummins' first overseas Tests since taking over as captain.
Australia last played in Pakistan in 1998, winning the three-match Test series 1-0 and sweeping the hosts in the three one-day internationals.
According to Cricket Australia, around 4,000 police and military personnel will be guarding the team hotel in Islamabad and the cricket stadium in Rawalpindi. (UNI)
