Bangladesh are set to play three Cricket World Cup Super League ODIs and as many T20Is against New Zealand in March.
Bangladesh also recalled Mohammad Naim, the opener, middle-order batsman Mosaddek Hossain and pacer Al-Amin Hossain for the white-ball tour. However, the left-arm spinner Taijul Islam missed out.
The ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who suffered a thigh injury during the first Test against West Indies also missed out after he was granted paternity leave by the board.
Following the forced changes in the itinerary due to COVID-19 related challenges, Bangladesh will now leave for the tour on February 24.
The three ODIs will be played on March 20, 23 and 26 in Dunedin, Christchurch and Wellington respectively, while the T20Is will be held on March 28, 30 and April 1 in Hamilton, Napier and Auckland respectively.
