Former Pak Hindu Spinner Danish Kaneria writes 'Jai Shri Ram', While Indian cricketers simply ignored

Ayodhya: It was a momentous occasion of Hindus worldwide when Prime minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ayodhya for the Bhumi Poojan of Temple for much-awaited Ram Lala.

The moment after Narendra Modi laid foundation stone of the temple there were a lot of good wishes floating on the microblogging site Twitter.

Former Pak Spinner Danish Kaneria who has been battling hard for his livelihood wrote:- The beauty of Lord Rama lies in his character, not in his name. He is a symbol of the victory of right over the evil. There is a wave of happiness across the world today. It is a moment of great satisfaction. JaiShriRam"

It is to be noted that Kaneria is the most successful leg-spinner in the history of Pakistan Test cricket. He is the only second Hindu to play Test cricket for Pakistan and has picked 261 wickets before being banned by the ECB for life for spot-fixing in English county matches.

While Indian cricketers except Opener Shikhar Dhawan shied away to write praise of Lord Ram or even congratulate the majority of Indians on the Bhumi Poojan of a temple they were rightfully waiting for 500 years. Cricketers of Team India were also criticized for their numbness to this occasion on other social media platforms as well.(WD)
