Harbhajan Singh handed the letter regarding this grant to District Badminton Association Secretary and former national player Mr. Ritin Khanna.
Ritin Khanna said that DBA was short of funds to purchase new machinery for the gymnasium. In this regard, a request for grant was made to Harbhajan Singh.
Harbhajan Singh has an old association with Hansraj Badminton Stadium. In the early days of his career, he used to come here to play badminton and for his fitness training. Khanna said Harbhajan accepted his request and issued instruction for sending the grant to the PWD department from his MPLADS. (UNI)
