The ICC said that the SLC had been suspended in November for being in serious breach of its obligations as an ICC member, in particular, the requirement to manage its affairs autonomously and ensure no government interference in the governance, regulation and administration of cricket in Sri Lanka.
The ICC said they had been monitoring the situation since the suspension and are now satisfied that the SLC is no longer in breach of its membership obligations.
The ICC suspended SLC from international cricket on November 10.
However, after a meeting of the ICC Board on November 21, it was decided that Sri Lanka could continue to compete internationally despite their suspension.
