Mumbai: The Men’s Selection Committee has named a 15-member cricket team for India’s upcoming three-match IDFC FIRST Bank Test series against New Zealand.
The series will see India's best players competing to maintain their strong home record against New Zealand.
Rohit Sharma will lead the team, but a significant point of focus will be on Jasprit Bumrah, who has been named vice-captain.
The pace spearhead, known for his precision and lethal deliveries, will be expected to guide the young pace unit, alongside taking on additional leadership responsibilities. His form will be vital for India’s chances in the series.
