The incident occurred on Saturday during the 4th over of the West Indies' innings when Saini took Nicholas Pooran's wicket.
While rejoicing Pooran's wicket, Saini was found to have breached ''Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to using actions or gestures which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon their dismissal'', ICC's official website said in a statement.
Saini was also handed one demerit point and he admitted the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Jeff Crowe, so there was no need for a formal hearing.
The Indian pacer had a spectacular debut and was named man-of-the-match for his sensational spell of 3 for 17 off in his 4 overs helping India win the first T-20 match comfortably against Windies.(UNI)
