Ahmedabad:New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Ferguson and Afghanistan wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz have been traded from Gujarat Titans (GT) to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.
Ferguson, who was signed for Rs 10 crore at the mega auction in February this year, has played 13 matches for Titans and has picked 12 wickets that included a 4-wicket haul.
While, Gurbaz went unsold initially, and was later included in the Gujarat Titans squad in the 2022 IPL edition as a replacement for England batter Jason Roy, but did not play any game last season.
On Friday, Australian fast bowler Jason Behrendorff has been traded from Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) to Mumbai Indians (MI) for the forthcoming IPL Season 2023.
He was acquired by RCB in the 2022 IPL Mega Auction for his base price of Rs 75 lakh.
Behrendorff has previously represented the Chennai Super Kings in 2021, Mumbai Indians in 2018 and Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2022. The left-arm quick has played 9 T20Is picking 7 wickets with a best bowling performance of 4/21.
In the 2023 edition, he will be representing Mumbai Indians – his 2018 franchise, when he played 5 matches and picked as many wickets.(UNI)
