Nagpur:Riding on skipper Virat Kohli's 116 runs and Jasprit Bumrah's brilliant bowling performances in the death overs along with Vijay Shankar's magical final over, India pulled off a thriller against Australia to win the second One-Day international (ODI) by eight runs, here at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium (VCA) in Nagpur on Tuesday.
With the virtue of this win, the hosts registered their 500th ODI win. India posted a modest total of 250 runs in 48.2 overs, before bowling Australia out for 242 runs in 49.3 overs, going 2-0 up in the five-match series. This was India's fourth consecutive win over the Aussies at this venue.
