Chawla, who was part of India’s 2011 World Cup-winning team, made his international debut in 2006.

The 32-year old has played three Tests, 25 ODIs and 7 T20s for India. He represents Gujarat in the domestic circuit and has so far played 136 first-class matches, taking 445 wickets in it.

The leg-spinner was roped in by Mumbai Indians in the auction this year after being released by Chennai Super Kings. However, he did not play a single game in the IPL 2021, which was indefinitely suspended due to COVID-19 outbreak in its bio-bubble. (UNI)
