The interaction will be held virtually, the Government officials said.
The Tokyo Olympic will be held from July 23 to August 8 this year.
The first batch of 120 athletes of India’s Olympic squad is to depart for Tokyo on July 17 by a charter Air India flight, the officials added.
In view of the raging Covid-19 cases, the Tokyo Olympics will be held under a state of emergency in Japan without spectators and the Indian Government has also decided not to send any officials with the contingent owing to the restrictions.
The Indian Embassy at Tokyo has been assigned the responsibility to take care of the Indian squad during their stay there. (UNI)
