Three Bengal’s women cricket selectors among four injured in road accident

Kolkata: Three selectors of Bengal’s women cricket among four people others were injured seriously when their 4-wheeler in which they were travelling hit a parked truck on the highway on Sunday in East Burdwan, a report reaching here said.
Purnima Chowdhury, Shyama Dey and Chandana Mukherjee are among the injured selectors.
All the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
Among the wounded Chandana Mukherjee and the driver, who were in the front seat, are in a critical state.
The road accident happened at Memari early in the morning when their chartered cab hit the rear of the stationary truck. (UNI)
