'We are over the moon': Jasprit Bumrah, Sanjana Ganesan blessed with baby boy

New Delhi: India’s ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan became proud parents to a baby boy ‘Angad’ on Monday.
Bumrah shared the news on the Instagram with a lovely post. Sharing a picture he wrote: “Our little family has grown & our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world. We are over the moon and can't wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it.”
Bumrah and Sanjana, a renowned television broadcaster, got married in March of 2021.
Bumrah returned to India from Asia Cup 2023 to be with her wife. He is set to miss the match against Nepal, scheduled at Pallekele in Sri Lanka on Monday.
Mohammad Shami is very likely to replace him in the playing XI for the match against Nepal.
Reports say that he will be available for the Group 4 stage matches. (UNI)
