WTC final: 15 member Team India squad announced

India announced its 15 member squad for the much-touted World Test championship final hours after Newzealand side is pumped up after defeating the host by 1-0 in tests. Notably, The team India will take on the Kiwis in the penultimate clash on 18th June in the ages bowl Southampton. 
The team India will be led by skipper Virat Kohli. The middle-order batsman who was stand-in captain on the Australian tour has been named the vice-captain. The star wicketkeeper who has acted as a finisher for team India is the wicketkeeper while a back keeper Wridhiman Saha has also been included in the side in case of an injury. 
 
Rohit Sharma and Shubhman gill are set to open for the Indian team in white clothing. While only two spin options are visible in the 15 member squad- R Ashwin and R Jadeja, possibly only 1 is going to get a chance in the playing XI on the pitches that assist pace and bounce. 
 
Few names have been left out of the squad, Selectors have opted for Umesh Yadav instead of Shardul Thakur who proved handy with the bat and ball on the last test of the Australian tour. 
 
While Mayank Agrawal and spinner Washington Sundar too have been axed. The man of the series in the last Test series, the left-arm spinner Axar Patel has failed to make it in the top 15.
