Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met around 150 people during a Janata Darshan (public grievance hearing) held at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur.
People who approached him seeking financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses were assured full government support. The Chief Minister told them not to worry about expenses and to seek treatment at good hospitals, stating that the government would provide adequate financial aid.
He directed officials to expedite the process of preparing medical cost estimates for those requiring assistance and to forward them to the government without delay. Financial help will be provided from the Chief Minister’s discretionary fund to every eligible and needy patient.
CM Interacts Personally With 150 People
After arriving in Gorakhpur to participate in Holi celebrations, Yogi Adityanath attended the Janata Darshan on Tuesday morning. The event was held in the temple premises near the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan.
The Chief Minister personally walked up to each individual seated there, listened carefully to their grievances, and handed over their applications to the concerned officials for necessary action. He assured everyone that there was no need to feel anxious or distressed, as each problem would be addressed effectively.
Directions for Swift Resolution
During the public interaction, the Chief Minister instructed officials to handle citizens’ complaints with seriousness, sensitivity, and urgency. He emphasized that solutions must be prompt, high-quality, and satisfactory so that no individual faces unnecessary hardship.
He further warned that strict legal action should be taken in cases involving land grabbing or intimidation by influential individuals.
Assurance to Kidney Patient
Among those present was a person suffering from a kidney ailment who expressed concern about not being able to afford treatment. The Chief Minister first inquired whether the patient had an Ayushman card. When told that he did not, Yogi Adityanath assured him that financial constraints would not become a barrier to treatment and that sufficient assistance would be arranged.
Several others also sought help for serious medical conditions. The Chief Minister reiterated that the government would ensure that no deserving individual is denied treatment due to lack of funds.
Children who accompanied their family members were also present. The Chief Minister blessed them warmly, distributed chocolates, and encouraged them to focus on their studies.
