A video of a civil servant from Madhya Pradesh, Panna DSP Santosh Kumar Patel and a vegetable vendor friend is going viral on the social media.
Captioning the video, the DSP wrote, I met Salman Khan when I was studying engineering in Bhopal. He used to give me vegetables for free. When we met suddenly after 14 years, both of us were very happy. Forgetting someone who stood by you in bad times is no less than a sin. “Bande me ek dosh na ho, Banda ehsaan faramosh na ho (A person should not have one fault, he should not be ungrateful)."
In the viral clip, it can be seen that when Patel stopped his car in front of the vendor Salman Khan's vegetable stall in Bhopal. At first, Salman got scared and said 'Salam' to Patel.
Then, Patel called Salman nearer and asked whether he remembered him. Salman said he can't forget him and even likes his videos on social media. Patel then got out of the car and hugged Salman.
In the video, Patel said that it was during my engineering studies in Bhopal in 2009-2023. When I couldn’t even afford a dinner, he would take out a brinjal and a tomato from his stock every night for me and I cooked baingan ka bharta and eat it!”
