Madhya Pradesh: 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans raised after Muslim candidate’s win in Katni Sarpanch polls (VIDEO)

Katni: A police investigation is underway in the wake of anti-India slogans being allegedly raised during a victory rally by a female candidate who was declared elected as sarpanch of the Chaka village panchayat within Kuthla Police Station limits.

“A related video containing the slogan P------n zindabad went viral in social media. Subsequently, one Sachin Paroha lodged a written complaint,” CSP Vijay Pratap Singh confirmed on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Sarpanch Raheesa Begum’s spouse Wajid Khan claimed that no objectionable catchphrase was uttered. (UNI)
