“PFI training camps like RSS shakhas”: Patna SSP's statement stirs up hornet's nest

Patna: The remarks of the Senior Police Superintendent of Patna Manavjit Singh Dhillon terming the banned outfit PFI like RSS has stirred up massive political storm in the corridors of power and politics.
The SSP is at the eye of the storm with his comments that the banned outfit PFI trains youth in martial arts just like RSS shakhas.
Taking serious note of his remarks, the senior authorities at the police headquarters served him with a show cause notice on Thursday asking him to explain his comments within 48 hours.
While briefing the media after arresting two people from Phulwarisharif area in the state capital with terror links and thwarting the attempt to target the Prime Minister's Patna visit on Tuesday, the SSP had stated that PFI worked at Mosques and Madrassas to mobilise youths and worked to radicalize them.
He further added that the modus operandi was similar to that of RSS shakhas. They train the youth under the guise of physical education and spread their agenda.
The SSP had stated that the police had recovered documents being used to radicalize, brain wash and mobilize people.
He had informed that the accused arrested was associated with SIMI .
PFI has several underground cells and it's general vision document emphasis for protecting if the people of the Muslim community were tortured and suppressed. (UNI)
