A female politician was caught in bed with her adopted son by her husband, in a scandal that has rocked Thailand.
Prapaporn Choeiwadkoh, 45, was discovered naked in bed with her son by her husband, who drove for five hours and caught her red-handed.
The 24-year-old adopted son, Phra Maha, is a monk.
The husband, identified only as Ti, was suspicious of her relationship with the monk and drove from Bangkok to Sukhothai to catch his wife in bed with Maha.
The couple adopted Maha last year from a temple after Choeiwadkoh said she felt sorry for him.
The monk is now on the run.
A video of Choeiwadkoh, recorded by Ti, has also surfaced on social media platforms.
In the video, the man purportedly asks Choeiwadkoh "Are you two happy?"
Choeiwadkoh later told local media, “We didn't have sex then. Nothing happened, it's not what it looks like in the video. He had some problems, so we were just talking together, and then we were going to shower.”
Choeiwadkoh has been a member of Thailand’s Democratic Party since March 2023. The party has suspended her pending an investigation.
