Puducherry: Lt.Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan on Friday appreciated the act of a Woman Inspector in Chennai on Thursday, who carried an unconscious man on her shoulder to an autorickshaw for taking him to a hospital quickly.

In a release here on Friday, Dr.Soundararajan congratulated Inspector Rajeswari for her act.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin also felicitated the Inspector for her rescue work yesterday during Chennai rains.

It may be noted that T P Chatram Police station Inspector Rajeshwari carried the man on her shoulder after he fell unconscious in the cemetery where he works during heavy rainfall.
