WATCH: Delhi Traffic Police provides green corridor to transport live-heart from IGI to AIIMS

New Delhi: Delhi Traffic Police on Friday provided a 16 km green corridor to facilitate the Heart transportation from IGI Airport to AIIMS hospital Delhi.
The traffic police received information from AIIMS ORBO department for providing a green corridor to facilitate the transportation of heart from IGI Airport, Terminal-3 in Delhi to AIIMS, police said.
The heart was brought by air from Chandigarh. Despite peak hours and rush due to IIFT, the green corridor was provided by the traffic police. A distance of about 16 KM was covered within 20 minutes for transporting the heart. The distance would otherwise have taken almost 60-65 minutes in normal times, police said. (UNI)
