A shocking video from Siliguri, West Bengal, went viral on the social media, where a woman police officer tried to kiss a woman to prove she is not drunk.
As per local media reports, she was identified as Taniya Roy, an assistant sub-inspector who was on the recently-introduced pink mobile van aimed to ensure women's safety.
The incident has sparked outrage among the public who have demanded strict action against the accused cop.
In the viral video, Roy can be seen grabbing a woman and trying to kiss her on the lips, until locals stopped her action. The officer, as per the reports was in an inebriated state while on duty.

Roy has now been suspended after the video went viral and a departmental inquiry against her has been started. Local reports suggest that the officer also allegedly assaulted two minors who were talking in the school area at night.
