New Delhi:Popular comedian Raju Srivastava, who is undergoing treatment at AIIMS, after he collapsed while working out, is currently in stable condition, a statement by his family said on Friday.
On Friday night, in an Instagram post, which was shared on Raju's official handle, his family wrote, "Dear all. Raju Srivastava Ji's condition is stable. We are praying for his speedy recovery. The doctors are treating him and are doing their best. Thanks to all the well. wishers for their continued love and support."
The family also appealed to his well wishers and fans to ignore any "rumour" relating to the health condition of the 58-year-old comedian."Please ignore any rumour/fake news being circulated. Please pray for him," the family added.
Raju's health deteriorated on Tuesday evening while he was running on a treadmill at a South Delhi-based gym. He felt severe chest pain following which he suddenly collapsed and was rushed to the hospital by his gym trainer.(UNI)
