New Delhi: Ever since director Nitesh Tiwari unveiled his ambitious three-part project, 'Ramayana', fans have been on the lookout for more details, and on Wednesday their frenzy was fed by a few photos from the rumoured sets of the epic film on its reported first day of shooting.
Anticipation has been high as Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is set to portray the iconic role of Lord Ram against southern superstar Yash's Ravan.
The frenzy only escalated when glimpses of Kapoor's preparation sessions began circulating on social media platforms. Wednesday marked a significant milestone as it reportedly marked the commencement of filming for 'Ramayana'.
The image, shared by Akruti Singh on her Instagram Stories, depicted an elaborate set in making. Though only partially revealed, it hinted at a temple-like grandeur with several pillars. What really got fans curious was the accompanying caption by the actress, which simply read, "Ramayana Day 1."
