COVID 19 +ve Kanika Kapoor continues to throw tantrums at hospital

Lucknow:Singer Kanika Kapoor, who was recently diagnosed with coronavirus, complained that doctors here are not looking after her well as she was frequently being left alone in the ward.
However, doctors at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) super speciality hospital has denied her claims and said, "She has been provided with the best that is possible in a hospital.
The hospital has also said that she must co-operate as a patient and not throw tantrums of a star, said Dr R K Dhiman Director, Sanjay Gandhi PGIMS, in a statement here on Saturday night.
The doctor said Kanika is being provided Gluten-Free Diet from the Hospital Kitchen. She has to co-operate with us to help herself. The Director further said the facility provided to her is an isolated room with a toilet, patient-bed, and a television.
The ventilation of her room is air-conditioned with a separate Air Handling Unit (AHU) for the COVID 19 unit. "Utmost care is being taken but she must first start behaving like a patient and not a star," he said.
The singer, who shared on Friday that she has tested positive for the highly contagious novel coronavirus or COVID-19, was also accused of "negligence" in a First Information Report (FIR) filed by the police based on a complaint by the Chief Medical Officer of Lucknow as she attended several gatherings.(UNI)
